It's hard to recognize a good(!) electronic drumset by the first glimpse. So here are three points to keep in mind:
Good handling is a question of many factors: comfortable adjustment of the pads, easy assembing and transport of the rack, smooth connecting of cables and additional electronic equipment and last but not least a solid quality of the hard stressed parts of the set.
This point is essential, but often out of focus. The module should be intuitive in handling and should offer quick access to all functions. It should've be equipped with big rubber buttons, which easily can be pressed with the drumsticks. This is significant to a good module, because it has to respond fast and dependable during rehearsals and live concerts.
